Before first use, wash gently with warm water, mild dish soap and a soft sponge, then dry thoroughly.
Lightly grease the cavities, including the petal grooves, before filling. Leave space for the batter to rise.
Follow your recipe and check the first batch early, as flower-shaped cavities may bake differently from a traditional madeleine pan.
Allow cakes to cool briefly, then release gently. Use silicone or wooden utensils; do not cut inside the pan or use sharp metal tools.
Let the pan cool before washing. Hand wash only; do not soak, scrub with abrasive pads or put in the dishwasher.
Dry thoroughly, including the edges, before storing in a dry place. Do not use in a microwave or over direct heat.
