How to use:

  1. Squeeze batter evenly into the mold.
  2. Smooth the surface with a spatula, minimizing strokes to avoid deflation.
  3. Gently shake and lift the mold to release the cake; smooth edges if needed.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar after removing from the mold; apply a second layer for a crisp shell.
  5. Bake at 170°C for 20 minutes (or 150°C for 25 minutes in a convection oven). Do not open the oven door during baking.
  6. Allow to cool completely before handling.
  7. Pipe your favorite filling between the shells, and enjoy your dacquoise! It's easier and less sweet than macarons, but just as delicious.

Before using your silicone mold for the first time, rinse it in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
