Description

A little capybara to brighten your dessert table. This flexible silicone mold creates a seated, three-dimensional capybara with tiny ears, a rounded snout and little paws. Fill it with a chocolate pudding or jelly that sets firmly enough to hold its shape, then reveal a characterful dessert ready to decorate.

The soft mold can be gently peeled away from a fully set dessert, helping you release the finer details without pulling on the ears or face. Place it on a small tray before filling so it is easier to move to the fridge, and allow plenty of setting time before unmolding. A spoonable pudding will not hold the same shape, so choose a recipe designed to be turned out.

Serve your capybara on a bed of biscuit crumbs, add small edible eyes, or keep the decoration simple and let its shape do the work. It makes a playful project for capybara fans, an afternoon treat or a themed dessert table.

Includes one reusable silicone mold. Finished desserts, decorations and serving plate are not included. This is the mold featured in my capybara dessert video.

Use & Care
Wash before first use with warm soapy water and rinse well.
Place the mold on a small tray before filling to help keep it steady when moving it.
Choose a recipe designed for unmolding. Spoonable or very soft puddings may not hold the detailed shape.
Fill carefully and gently tap to help release trapped air. Chill until fully set according to your recipe.
Peel the silicone away slowly while supporting the dessert, taking extra care around the ears and face.
Wash with a soft sponge after use, rinse and allow to dry completely before storing.
Avoid sharp utensils, abrasive cleaners and pulling the mold forcefully.
